The Vietnam People's Navy opened its 2026 International Naval Cadet Training Exchange Programme (INCATEP) in Khanh Hoa province. Around 50 naval officers, instructors, and cadets from a dozen countries are taking part, including Australia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand. Vietnamese participants came from the Naval Academy, the Air Force Officer Training School, and the Signal Officers' School, with language liaison officers assisting throughout.
Running through August 28, the program aims to build stronger ties and understanding between military academies and their cadets.
