The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) have participated for the first time in the multinational Exercise Talisman Sabre 2025 (TS 2025).
The biennial exercise series is co-hosted by the Australian Defence Forces (ADF) and US es Indo-Pacific Command.
In their inaugural participation in TS2025, the SAF deployed two High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), two CH-47F Chinook helicopters and more than 100 personnel.
“We value such multilateral training opportunities which allow the SAF to enhance interoperability and deepen mutual understanding with partner militaries. The exercise also allows participating armed forces to learn collectively through joint training,” said Brigadier-General (BG) Anand Sathi Kumar, Commander of the SAF’s 6th Singapore Division/ Headquarters Sense and Strike.
The exercises also witnessed participation from teams belonging to the SAF’s Special Operations Task Force (SOTF), Special Operations Aviation Task Group (SOATG), medical and information domains also participated in integrated training with partner forces.
TS2025 is one of the largest multinational exercises in the Asia-Pacific, featuring 40,000 personnel from 18 other partner nations.
