Wrap Technologies has partnered with Florida‑based WOFT to establish a new integrated drone testing and non‑lethal response (NLR) training headquarters, positioning the site as a dual‑purpose evaluation and certification environment for defence, federal, and public‑safety agencies.
The facility will serve as an operational test range for counter‑UAS validation and drone‑enabled NLR deployment, incorporating adversarial drone detection, kinetic and non‑kinetic mitigation, payload validation, drone‑to‑drone engagements, and autonomous or human‑in‑the‑loop response testing.
Scenarios are designed to mirror real‑world operating environments including critical infrastructure, public venues, and defence-relevant airspace, with live‑flight data feeding into product refinement and procurement decision‑making.
Beyond counter‑UAS work, the hub will support structured drone‑to‑human non‑lethal deployment trials, covering pain‑free intervention tools, distraction‑and‑deterrence mechanisms, and tactical transition drills aimed at reducing escalation risk while maintaining lawful authority.
The site is also set to function as Wrap’s primary in‑person NLR training headquarters, offering operator training, instructor certification, command‑level briefings, policy integration sessions, and immersive scenario‑based implementation labs. WOFT instructors will complete Wrap’s certified trainer programme to ensure doctrinal alignment.
Wrap says the new hub consolidates testing, training, and validation into a single scalable ecosystem spanning BolaWrap, WrapReality, WrapVision, and the MERLIN‑1 DFR‑X counter‑UAS platform.
