The University of Mobile’s College of Health Professions will bring Athena, a CAE high-fidelity female patient simulator to its Center for Excellence in Healthcare in Alabama, with the help of a $50,000 grant from The Crampton Trust.

Athena is a wireless and tetherless manikin for realistic simulation training for healthcare students. Professors can program the simulator to have a variety of symptoms and create different medical scenarios.
