Six months after launching the Clean Growth Fund and Skills & Innovation Fund, local businesses in East Anglia have made significant strides in green innovation, workforce development, and sustainable growth. The Clean Growth Fund supports sectors like clean energy and green hydrogen, while the Skills & Innovation Fund focuses on expanding innovation and skills access in underserved communities.

Fifteen businesses, including those in clean energy, infrastructure, and MedTech, have received about £135,000 in grants. Revolve Labs, for example, developed VR training modules for healthcare professionals, delivering over 250 sessions. Aspire Educational Mentoring is helping disadvantaged students explore career paths, and Road to Logistics is addressing transport sector skills shortages.

Meanwhile, engineering firms like MKC Rail and Versatile RobotX are advancing materials for rail electrification and autonomous farming technologies. These investments are boosting sustainable growth and creating long-term opportunities for the local workforce in East Anglia.
