Steel Sim VR and Danieli Centro Cranes have partnered to strengthen crane operator training in the steel industry. Through this collaboration, clients can now obtain Steel Sim VR crane simulators directly from Danieli, simplifying the adoption of simulation-based training across new crane installations, upgrades, and workforce development programs.
The initiative aligns engineering and training from the outset, enabling operators to gain hands-on preparation before a crane is commissioned. This approach has demonstrated significant results, including a 90% reduction in training-related incidents, a 24% decrease in mentor supervision time, and a 25% cut in downtime linked to training activities.
By combining Danieli’s engineering expertise with Steel Sim VR’s technology, the partnership aims to ensure safer, faster, and more effective operator readiness for steel producers worldwide.
