The Utah Army National Guard has opened a new Medical Simulation Training Center at Camp Williams, expanding in-state capabilities for realistic combat medical training. The facility supports high-fidelity trauma simulations using mannequins that replicate bleeding, breathing, physiological deterioration, and treatment response.

The center features flexible trauma bays, and direct access for helicopter and ground patient transport. Integrated control rooms, immersive sensory effects, and robust construction enable sustained, intensive training. The center supports exercises ranging from short refresher courses to multi-day delayed-evacuation scenarios. While primarily serving Army medical units, the facility is also available to joint military forces and local emergency responders. The center is intended to improve medical readiness, interoperability, and trauma care outcomes across the region.
