Orange County and Seminole County high school and technical school students demonstrated modeling & simulation (M&S) projects to the military, academia and technology companies on Monday, February 25, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Team Orlando Modeling & Simulation Student Day.

The National Center for Simulation team, led by president and CEO, Tom Baptiste, retired Lt Gen, U.S. Air Force will host this Team Orlando event.

“We are pleased to feature several M&S projects that will be demonstrated by students from local high schools and technical schools,” said Baptiste.  “These projects exemplify the talent and creativity possessed by students from schools offering coursework in modeling, simulation, gaming, animation and visualization areas. We are extremely grateful to the special teachers who bring STEM coursework to the classroom, excite the students with challenging projects, and prepare them for meaningful and satisfying careers in our industry."

This event is free to attend and will take place in Research Park on the University of Central Florida campus in the Partnership Three building, room 321 A/B.
