ASTi will be back in Orlando, Florida, from 28 November – 1 December for I/ITSEC 2022. Visitors of the event can stop by booth #826 to check out new updates to ASTi’s flagship product suites, including Telestra, Voisus and SERA.

ASTi is presenting a live demonstration of SERA and Voisus on a T-6A virtual reality (VR) flight training device. SERA provides a simulated air traffic control (ATC) environment, while Voisus enables instructors to simultaneously monitor multiple students. Students are fully immersed in the environment, and instructor-to-student communication is seamless.

ASTi and TakeFlight will host a joint demo of SERA and AI Flight Instructor on a VR trainer. Visitors can also see SERA at the Lockheed Martin Innovation Demonstration Center (IDC). SERA integrates directly with multiple networked Prepar3D visual simulation systems, one of which simulates the control tower at Pueblo Memorial Airport in Colorado. Featuring a panoramic control tower view, this scenario demonstrates simulation capabilities for initial pilot training.

ASTi will also exhibit Solo — a complete virtual comms and radio environment app that provides portable, plug-and-play DIS/HLA interoperation for PC-based training systems. Solo can be used in addition to new and existing training devices of any kind that require network-based communications. Check out Solo Comms Solution for Military VR Flight Trainers, and ask about Solo at the ASTi booth.

Also at I/ITSEC, Vertex Solutions will demo the integration of its XR-based Immersive Training Devices (ITD) with SERA’s intelligent automation at booth #2427. Vertex’s ITDs are a common platform for Air Force and Naval aviation training modernization programs.
