AeroGuard Flight Training Center has successfully completed its inaugural class of Cathay Pacific cadet pilots. This significant milestone is the first of many within the five-year agreement between AeroGuard and Cathay Pacific, whereby AeroGuard trains the airline’s cadet pilots on an accelerated timeline.

Within this strategic partnership, AeroGuard Flight Training Center built a customized course to meet Cathay Pacific’s specific requirements as well as those of the HKCAD, while integrating AeroGuard’s curriculum and training procedures.

Cathay Pacific’s first class of cadets have now completed their training with AeroGuard and are returning to Cathay to complete their last phase of training before they begin flying for the airline. These cadets trained within an accelerated 10-month timeline and completed all necessary licenses and ratings that has prepared them for their future careers with Hong Kong’s leading airline.

Across its three U.S campuses, AeroGuard Flight Training Center offers training facilities with the capacity to train hundreds of future pilots. As U.S. pilots typically require 1,500 hours of flight experience before they can fly for an airline, AeroGuard maintains a consistent pipeline of highly trained flight instructors that allow them to continuously welcome airline cadets. This structure provides every student pilot and instructor the resources and learning experience they need to become capable pilots and reach their dream career.

AeroGuard Flight Training Center looks forward to continuing its partnership with Cathay Pacific with plans to continually accept new cadet classes from Cathay training at their Phoenix, Arizona, campus. AeroGuard’s growing capacity and training resources prepares them for additional student pilots to join them and build a foundation for their future professional careers.
