Marty Kauchak, MS&T Editor, remotely joined the Sept. 21 Central Florida Tech Grove-hosted event “Roundtable with the PMs” featuring Colonel Marcus Reynolds, Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS) and his staff. As connectivity permitted, MS&T gained insights on important developments across the US Marine Corps training portfolio. 

This iteration of Red Sands included training, operational demonstrations, and testing of nine systems employing various kinetic and non-kinetic techniques to destroy or disable Unmanned Aerial Systems.

The bilateral training focused on joint planning processes; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance fundamentals; and best practices for ISR support to operations.

Instructors will teach students best practices for inspecting their Enstrom and keeping their rotorcraft’s turbine or piston engine running smoothly.
