Air One Aviation Limited has acquired Quadrant Systems Limited, including the Approved Training Organisation Quadrant Pilot and the four-bay Full Flight Simulator facility. Quadrant Systems Limited’s simulators are the core element of the transfer of business. The remaining engineering and manufacturing business formerly in Quadrant Systems Limited will be retained by the Quadrant Group within a new company, called Quadrant Simulation Systems Limited.

With this acquisition and further acquisition of  Pier Seven Aviation FZC, which is also on final stages of completion), Air One Aviation, Pier Seven Aviation & Quadrant Systems Limited together will have six simulators: B737 NG, B737 CL, B747-400, B757 200 and two A320s.

Stephen Williams, Quadrant CEO added “We have been in discussion with Air One Aviation Limited on how to build the best training capability and services for our customers worldwide in an aviation industry, which is learning to adapt to the new environment following the global pandemic. We are pleased to secure the future of the training business in Burgess Hill through this transaction”.

Quadrant Group comprises Quadrant Simulation Systems Limited, the UK operating company based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex; Quadrant Simulation Systems, Inc., the US operating company based in Orlando, Florida; Micro Nav Limited, the ATC simulator specialist operating in Bournemouth, Dorset; Global ATS Limited, the ATC training provider operating in Gloucester, UK and Quest Flight Training Limited (Quest), based at RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire, UK.
