L3Harris Technologies has launched the Aviation Industry Recovery (AIR) Scholarship for select cadets in Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) training. The scholarships provide successful candidates up to £10,000 towards the cost of integrated ATPL training at L3HArris Airline Academy. Applications for the AIR Scholarship are open until September 30.

Cadets that start the 18-month training course now will graduate at a time when IATA forecasts the demand for commercial airline pilots to be near 2019 levels. The scholarship is part of the L3Harris Pilot Pathways program which is a broader commitment to improving the accessibility of training to aspiring pilots from all backgrounds.

The scholarship is open to aspiring candidates that meet the entry criteria to train towards an integrated ATPL in the UK and Europe. Scholarships of up to £10,000 will be awarded to candidates based on their performance throughout the selection process and on a 500 word essay highlighting their passion for aviation and why they are deserving of the scholarship.
