Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) and EGYPTAIR have signed an agreement for a Reality7e Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulator, continuing a working relationship spanning almost 25 years.
The new device will be the EGYPTAIR Training Academy's second A320neo Full Flight Simulator, adding capacity for A320-family type rating, recurrent, and command upgrade training at its Cairo International Airport campus. The expanded simulator inventory strengthens EGYPTAIR's service offering for customers in the region.
Ben Swann, Chief Operating Officer, Acron Aviation CTS, said: "EGYPTAIR was the first operator in the Middle East and Africa to acquire a RealitySeven A320 simulator, which has been supporting pilot training in Cairo since 2020. The addition of a second A320neo device will help meet growing demand for A320-family training across the region."
The EGYPTAIR delegation also visited CTS's London Training Center and production facilities, gaining insight into the company's design, manufacture, and support of pilot training solutions.
