Air France is launching its new recruitment campaign for the Cadet Program. Applications will be open from June 15 to July 31, 2026, for candidates wishing to join the training program, funded by the airline.

The Air France Cadet Program offers a 24-month training course delivered by partner flight schools selected by the airline. At the end of the program, cadets join Air France or Transavia as First Officers, flying Airbus A220 or A320 aircraft at Air France, or Boeing 737 and A320neo aircraft at Transavia.

Since the program was relaunched in 2018, more than 300 young pilots have joined the cockpits of Air France and Transavia. The program also aims to strengthen diversity and increase the representation of women in the cockpit. In 2025, 25% of selected cadets were women.

In partnership with the French Aeronautical Federation (FFA) and the French Gliding Federation (FFVP), Air France will also host a webinar dedicated to the Cadet Program on Tuesday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m., to present the selection process and the training program.
