ATP Flight School has expanded its operations in Michigan with the opening of two new flight training centers—one at Oakland County International Airport (PTK) in Pontiac and another at Ann Arbor Municipal Airport (ARB). These locations join ATP’s existing training center at Willow Run Airport (YIP).
Students at the new locations can enroll in ATP's Airline Career Pilot Program, which is designed to take individuals from no prior flight experience to airline employment in approximately two and a half years. The program includes flight training, career resources, and access to airline hiring pathways.
ATP Flight School's expansion in Michigan reflects an effort to meet regional demand for airline pilot training. With metro Detroit serving as a key hub, the new locations aim to provide greater access to professional flight instruction and airline pathway programs. The additional sites give students more options to begin their pilot training and connect with established hiring networks across the aviation industry.
ATP’s three Michigan locations are part of a broader network of 83 flight training centers across the United States. The national structure provides students with access to standardized airline-oriented training, hiring pathway programs, and centralized resources such as examiner availability and fleet maintenance.
ATP is currently accepting new student enrollments at all three Michigan centers.
