Ankara-based flight simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN announced that an Airbus A320 full flight simulator, constructed by HAVELSAN and operated by International Flight Training Center (IFTC), has renewed its European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Level D certification.

IFTC, a member of Gözen Holding, is Türkiye’s first independent full flight simulator training center, established in 2008. It operates two training centers — in Istanbul and Antalya — with five full flight simulators covering both Airbus A320 and Boeing B737NG aircraft types. The center supports a wide range of airlines and stakeholders with pilot training requirements.

In May 2024, IFTC ordered a HAVELSAN-manufactured Airbus A320 NEO/CEO full flight simulator with three engine options. Installation and testing of the device were completed within a month, and it achieved EASA Level D certification in July 2024.

HAVELSAN stated it remains committed to supporting IFTC’s pilot training infrastructure and to providing additional training equipment to increase training capacity. The company currently has several Airbus A320 full flight simulators in production, with delivery of two more devices to clients planned in 2025.
