Coptersafety and REISER Simulation and Training GmbH (REISER) have signed an agreement for two new Level D Full Flight Simulators to be installed at Coptersafety’s facility near Helsinki International Airport. The additions will expand Coptersafety’s training offerings for Airbus Helicopters models.
The order includes an H175 Full Flight Simulator, set to be among the first H175 Level D devices for commercial use. This simulator will feature the latest Helionix version and include mission-specific configurations for offshore and search-and-rescue operations.
Coptersafety will also add a second H145 Level D Full Flight Simulator to meet growing training demand from H145 operators. The H145 D3 simulator will be equipped with the newest Helionix suite and configured to support missions such as helicopter emergency medical services and hoisting operations.
“The Airbus Helicopters’ H145 fleet is quickly growing and so is the need for additional H145 simulator training capacity. As our next new simulator type, we’ve chosen the Airbus Helicopters’ H175 due to the growing fleets of super-medium types. With these new simulators, we will extend our customer base to a new type and add much-needed capacity to the H145 training market. Both FFS will have a wide selection of options and features with the newest versions of avionics to ensure that our customers can have the best possible training available in the market,” said Toni Rönnberg, COO of Coptersafety.
Both simulators will be certified to EASA and FAA Level D standards, as well as other major aviation authorities.
