At the opening of the 23rd European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal, from 5-6 November 2025, Elixir Aircraft announced the delivery of its first aircraft to Omni Aviation Training Center (OATC). The Portuguese school confirmed its plan to renew its fleet with Elixir aircraft during its graduation ceremony on 20 September 2025. A letter of intent for seven additional aircraft has been signed.
Omni Aviation Training Center, based at Cascais Aerodrome, is one of Portugal’s longest-established flight schools, operating since 1998. Since 2007, OATC has been an independent company within the Omni Group, training pilots to meet the growing demand from Omni Group airlines and other operators in Portugal and abroad.
“OATC is entering a new phase: more modern aircraft, stronger airline-style training, and more flying opportunities for our students. We are moving from legacy trainers to next-generation platforms, and the Elixir represents the real leap forward. With a full glass cockpit, advanced safety features such as a whole-aircraft parachute and autopilot level mode, the Elixir perfectly embodies the safety, efficiency, and sustainability we want for the next generation of pilots, fully aligning with our commitment to quality over quantity,” said Dylan van Haasen, Head of Training at OATC.
Elixir Aircraft now supports Approved Training Organisations in France, the UK, Greece, Spain, and Portugal, continuing its European expansion as more schools modernize their fleets with safer, lower-emission aircraft.
Elixir Aircraft will be at The European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal, from 5- 6 November at booth 727 to share more about their training solutions. Stop by to learn more.
