Epic Flight Academy held a grand opening on June 21, 2025, at Centennial Airport (APA) in Englewood, Colorado, marking the official launch of its FAA Part 141 flight training facility. The South Metro Denver Chamber hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and attendees were offered simulator sessions and Discovery Flights.

Brock Rees, Director of Satellite Operations, noted the strong turnout: “We had an excellent turnout with folks taking turns with flight simulator sessions as well as discovery flights.”

Founder and CEO Danny Perna added, “The folks at Centennial Airport and the entire Denver area have been extremely welcoming. We’re happy to a part of the community now. From our first visit to the area, we felt right at home, so the decision to establish a campus there was easy. We already have students training at APA and look forward to welcoming more.”

Epic Flight Academy, established in 1999, operates multiple training locations across the U.S. and provides both pilot and aircraft mechanic instruction under FAA Part 141 and 147 certifications.
