Loong Air’s first CAE-built A320 full-flight simulator is now ready for training at the airline’s newly constructed training centre in Hangzhou, China. The simulator is the first of three A320 full-flight simulators that CAE is providing as part of Loong Air’s pilot training development plans.

The A320 simulator is the first device installed at the new Hangzhou facility. CAE is supplying Loong Air with three A320 full-flight simulators and three flight training devices, with options for additional simulators. Two more full-flight simulators are scheduled to be ready for training in 2026.

Loong Air operates a fleet of 74 A320 family aircraft and employs more than 800 pilots. The simulators installed at the new training centre feature the CAE Prodigy visual system and are intended to support pilot training operations.
