Epic Flight Academy and Seminole State College of Florida have signed an agreement allowing Epic-trained pilots to transfer up to 27 credit hours toward an associate’s degree.
The credits apply to various FAA certifications, including Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Certified Flight Instructor. With 60 credits required for graduation, Epic pilots can fulfill nearly half the degree requirements through their training. The agreement also allows flexible online course options to support students already working in aviation.
“We are excited to announce this agreement with Seminole State College,” said Danny Perna, founder and CEO of Epic Flight Academy. “This provides a pathway for our flight students to turn their FAA-issued flying credentials into college credit toward a degree in more than 200 program options. Furthermore, Seminole State’s online courses offer flexibility to Epic pilots who have joined the workforce. A Seminole State College degree will enhance their career opportunities.”
