Entrol has installed and certified a new en-1000x FNPT II flight simulator at Flying Green Academy, a flight school based in France. The device is designed to support a wide range of training needs, with three interchangeable cockpit configurations: SEP Complex Analog, SEP Complex G1000, and MEP G1000. This allows students to train using both analog and modern glass cockpit systems on a single platform.
The simulator features a cylindrical visual system with three projectors and a 180-degree field of view. The visual database includes 10 key airports relevant to the school’s operations, including LFPN, LFPO, LFPB, and LFMN. The school’s base airport, LFLA, is modeled in high definition using satellite imagery. A vibration system adds physical feedback to support pilot skill development.
The en-1000x is intended to help students build core pilot competencies and prepare for advanced training such as Crew Resource Management (CRM), emergency procedures, Jet Orientation Courses, and airline selection interviews.
