Spain-based Flyschool Air Academy has acquired a Boeing 737 MAX (B73M) Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) from FTD.aero, a Polish simulator manufacturer. The new device is scheduled to be added to the academy’s training fleet in October 2025 and will undergo EASA FNPT II MCC certification by Spain’s aviation authority, AESA.
The simulator features OEM flight controls, a three-axis control loading system with full manual reversion, OEM cockpit parts, and heavy-duty CANBUS electronics. These components aim to deliver a highly immersive training experience, making it one of the most advanced devices of its kind in the region, according to the company.
The simulator will support Flyschool’s expanding suite of airline pilot training programs, including Jet Orientation Courses (JOC), Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC), and customized type preparation courses, reinforcing the academy’s focus on high-quality, professional pilot development.
