Jet Masterclass (UK) Ltd, an approved training organisation specialising in Multi-Crew Cooperation and type rating preparation near London Gatwick Airport, has been ordered into liquidation by the High Court of Justice following a creditor petition.

The company, which operated a Boeing 737-800 FTD-1 flight training device, entered liquidation on 22 February following a winding-up petition filed by creditor TJ Aviation Ltd in February 2025, according to British Newspaper The Daily Express. Joint liquidators Sean Bucknall and Elias Paourou were appointed 15 April 2025.

Jet Masterclass had operated for 12 years from facilities in Crawley, providing MCC, Airline Pilot Standards (APS MCC), and type rating preparation courses. In October 2022, the company relocated to expanded facilities at the Gatwick 33 site on London Road, investing in additional simulator capacity and training infrastructure.

The liquidation order transfers control from directors to the official receiver, freezing company assets and operating as notice of redundancy for employees. Liquidators will sell remaining assets, including the FTD-1 training device, to satisfy creditor claims.

Details on the number of affected students, course fee protection arrangements, and reasons for financial failure were not disclosed.
