Acron Aviation formed an agreement with Indian flight training provider Flightrule Aviation Services to train New Zealand-based cadets at its London Training Center near Gatwick Airport.
Under this three-year training agreement, Acron Aviation will provide Type Ratings to graduates of the Flightrule - IndiGo Pilot Cadet Program. Type Ratings are tailored to IndiGo training requirements to ensure all new pilots meet the standards of the airline.
CEO of Flightrule and Captain, Rahul Monga commenting on the partnership, added: “With over thirty years of experience in the aviation industry, we sought a partner that could provide tailored, flexible, and trusted programs. Acron Aviation, with its rich history in pilot training, excels in all these areas. We look forward to having them alongside us on this journey as we continue to address the ongoing pilot shortage, which is a core part of our company ethos.”
Headquartered in New Delhi, and with offices in Singapore, Flightrule Aviation Services provides technology-led pilot training solutions. In 2019, the company began its collaboration with India’s largest airline, IndiGo, and New Zealand based, International Commercial Pilot Academy (NZICPA) to launch an IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program.
