infoWERK has launched Aviation Competence+, a digital competence system designed to strengthen theoretical knowledge application and operational confidence among flight dispatchers.

The subscription‑based platform provides access to more than 100 aviation theory courses, enabling dispatchers to focus on reinforcing specific knowledge gaps rather than repeating full theory modules.

The system is aimed at addressing a long‑standing challenge in FOO/FD training, where gaps in complex subjects such as Air Law, Performance, Flight Planning and Meteorology can affect decision‑making, exam performance and day‑to‑day operational efficiency.

Aviation Competence+ functions both as an exam‑preparation tool and an on‑demand reference for dispatchers during operational duties.

infoWERK CEO Wolfgang Lachinger said the platform was developed to support dispatchers where traditional training often falls short, enabling targeted reinforcement of difficult theoretical areas “without unnecessary repetition.”

Positioned as a supplementary competence‑development tool, Aviation Competence+ is intended to enhance existing dispatcher‑training frameworks by improving knowledge retention, assessment readiness and confidence in operational decision‑making. The system is available now via subscription.
