On November 19, 2025, AeroGuard Flight Training Center began enrolling its first group of cadets under a strategic agreement with Qatar Aeronautical Academy to prepare future commercial airline pilots.
Through the partnership, AeroGuard is supporting Qatar Aeronautical Academy’s pilot development program for airline-focused training. The curriculum is designed to take cadets from no prior flight experience to airline readiness through a structured training pathway.
Qatar Aeronautical Academy cadets are training at AeroGuard’s Phoenix, Arizona campus. The location offers year-round flying operations and access to a complex airspace environment used for flight instruction. Arizona continues to host numerous pilot training programs due to its aviation infrastructure and weather conditions.
Cadets participating in the program are working toward Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Commercial Pilot Licenses with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings. Training activities are being conducted alongside cadets from other international airline programs, including partnerships with Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Air India, and Air New Zealand, as well as U.S.-based training programs with SkyWest Airlines, Arizona State University, and the United States Air Force.
The agreement forms part of AeroGuard’s ongoing efforts to work with aviation training organizations internationally to support airline pilot development programs.
