Entrol has announced the sale and upcoming delivery of an S-64 FTD Level 6 simulator to the Korea Forest Aviation Headquarters. Installation is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. The simulator replicates the complex S-64E helicopter, which is widely used in aerial firefighting operations.
The training device will include Entrol’s Control Loading System, dual Garmin GTN 750 Xi avionics, the ENWALL Complete LED Solution, and the ENVISION visual system, designed to deliver realistic graphics and accurate color representation. Additional features include a vibration system, NVIS capabilities, and a Debriefing Station for post-mission analysis.
Entrol’s Mission Package will enable Korea Forest Aviation Headquarters to conduct specialized training for firefighting, external cargo handling, and water deployment using sea snorkels and water cannons. The project was developed in collaboration with JINONE Heli-Support, Entrol’s official agent in Korea, to ensure the simulator meets local operational and environmental needs.
