Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) has partnered with Padpilot to integrate digital theory training resources into its ab initio pilot programs at the European Flight Academy (EFA). The collaboration is designed to enhance the theoretical knowledge curriculum for the next generation of airline pilots.

Padpilot’s updated ATPL(A) ground training materials follow the latest EASA syllabus, including ECQB 2024 Amendment 5, and use videos, animations, and 3D models to support scenario-based learning. These resources link theory with practical application, providing interactive study aids that help instructors save preparation time while supporting student understanding and retention.

The partnership aligns with LAT’s focus on efficient and future-oriented training approaches that address evolving airline industry needs. It aims to provide students with a solid foundation in aviation theory, directly applicable to airline operations and subsequent training stages.

The collaboration underscores both organisations’ commitment to innovation in pilot education and ensures that LAT continues to train pilots prepared for operational demands across the Lufthansa Group and the wider aviation industry.
