Simaero has received certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) for its A320 ceo/neo full-flight simulator at the Changsha Training Center. The simulator, manufactured by China Simulation Sciences Co., Ltd. (CSS), now holds approvals from CAAM, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
With this certification, Malaysian pilots can complete A320 type rating and recurrent training in Changsha. This adds to Simaero’s existing training services available in France, enabling broader access for Malaysian airlines.
The Changsha facility, opened one year ago, is part of Simaero’s effort to expand regional training access in China and Southeast Asia. The approval supports the center’s continued development as a hub for pilot instruction, aligning with Simaero’s goal to meet growing pilot training demands in the Asia-Pacific region.
