Emirates announced on World Pilots’ Day that it plans to recruit over 1,500 pilots within the next two years to support its continued global expansion. This year alone, the airline aims to hire more than 550 aviators, adding to its current team of 4,600 flight crew members.
More than 80 pilots are currently moving through the Accelerated Command programme, which helps First Officers progress rapidly to Captain.
Emirates will hold pilot recruitment roadshows in over 40 cities this year, with upcoming events scheduled in Norway, Finland, and Sweden.
