Simnest Group has been established as a new parent brand to unify Simnest Aviation and Simnest Pilot Academy, aiming to improve efficiency, collaboration, and innovation across both organizations. Cpt. Gyula Kühtreiber, former Head of Flight Operations and Recruitment Manager at an airline and current TRE, has been appointed CEO to guide the Group’s strategic direction.

Simnest Aviation has 23 EASA-certified A320 and B737 FNPT II MCC simulators installed across Europe. Its sister company, Simnest Pilot Academy—partnered with Wizz Air—operates four A320 simulators and has trained nearly 2,500 students, including more than 1,700 MCC and APS MCC graduates.

The creation of Simnest Group formalizes the long-standing collaboration between the two companies, aligning their resources for greater operational efficiency and a unified market presence. Both brands are also undergoing a visual refresh with new logos, a redesigned website, and a shared exhibition presence.

Cpt. Kühtreiber stated that the two companies have developed rapidly and that the new structure will allow them to build on past success and expand pilot training quality beyond Europe.

The new CEO and unified brand will be formally introduced at EATS 2025 in Cascais, Portugal, where the Simnest Group will exhibit at stand 616.
