Mount Royal University (MRU) in Calgary, Canada has added an ALSIM AL250 simulator to its flight training program.

The AL250 covers initial pilot training requirements including PPL, CPL, Instrument, and Multi-Engine ratings. It is certified as an EASA FNPT II, FAA AATD, and Transport Canada FTD Level 2 with IPC capability. The device supports both analog and glass cockpit configurations across each flight model.

"The flight school at Mount Royal University covers a wide range of student training levels. We chose the AL250 simulator because it allows us to quickly and efficiently configure our simulators for each lesson without the need for complex hardware changes," said Ian Wallace, Chief Flight Instructor at Mount Royal University.

The AL250 joins MRU's existing ALSIM ALX simulator, expanding the university's reconfigurable training device lineup within its aviation faculty.
