Pan Am Flight Academy and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have established a new partnership designed to support the next generation of professional pilots as they prepare for careers with commercial airlines.
As part of the partnership, Embry-Riddle will join Pan Am Flight Academy’s Next Gen Pilot Program, an initiative designed to connect leading aviation universities and their students with professional airline training, industry exposure and opportunities that help bridge the transition from university to the airline flight deck.
Through the program, eligible students and alumni from Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus will receive exclusive access to discounted Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP) training at Pan Am Flight Academy in Miami.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Embry-Riddle to our Next Gen Pilot Program,” said Federico Flores Navarro, Chief Commercial Officer of Pan Am Flight Academy. “This is exactly what we envisioned when we created this program: bringing aviation education and professional airline training closer together and creating real opportunities for the next generation of pilots.”
The partnership brings together Embry-Riddle’s global reputation in aviation education with Pan Am Flight Academy’s experience training professional pilots and airline crews from around the world.
ATP-CTP participants will train in an airline-focused environment alongside professional pilots and airline customers, providing students with additional exposure to the standards, training environment and expectations they will encounter as they move toward an airline career.
“This partnership has been more than 10 months in the making, with a tremendous amount of collaboration and planning behind the scenes,” Flores added. “We are very proud to see Embry-Riddle become part of the Next Gen Pilot Program. This is just the beginning, and we are excited about what we can build together.”
