IFA – International Flight Academy in Portugal has joined FTD.aero’s customer base with a recent contract for the development, delivery, and installation of a B73M FNPT II MCC flight simulation training device (FSTD). The simulator will be located at IFA’s training facility at Viseu Airport (LPVZ), Portugal.

The agreement followed a detailed evaluation process and a successful test session on an existing FTD.aero-built simulator. The device will include upgraded features and original aircraft components, aiming to provide a realistic twin-jet cockpit experience. Once qualified under EASA FNPT II MCC standards—expected in early 2026—it will be used for Airline Pilot Standard (APS) MCC training.

The B73M simulator is intended to support IFA’s goal of preparing cadets for multi-crew airline operations. The inclusion of enhanced systems is designed to align the training environment more closely with modern commercial aircraft.

FTD.aero will showcase its technologies at booth #501 during the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) in Singapore, scheduled for August 26–27, 2025.
