Pan Am Flight Academy has expanded its presence in Latin America through a new strategic cooperation and representation agreement with Brazil's EPA Training Center, establishing a commercial presence in Curitiba, Paraná.
Under the agreement, EPA Training Center will represent Pan Am Flight Academy in Brazil, providing local support for commercial activities, customer engagement and business development. The partnership is intended to strengthen Pan Am's position in the Brazilian market while increasing its visibility and accessibility for airlines, corporate operators and aviation professionals.
Brazil is one of Latin America's largest aviation markets, and the agreement forms part of Pan Am Flight Academy's wider international expansion strategy.
"Brazil is one of the most important aviation markets in Latin America, and this partnership allows us to further strengthen our presence and better support the growing demand for high-quality aviation training throughout the region," said Federico Flores Navarro, Chief Commercial Officer of Pan Am Flight Academy. "EPA Training Center has earned tremendous respect within the Brazilian aviation community, and we are excited to work together to create new opportunities for airlines, operators, and aviation professionals."
Pan Am said the collaboration reflects its strategy of expanding its global reach through partnerships that bring aviation training services closer to customers in regional markets.
EPA Training Center, founded more than 50 years ago, describes itself as Latin America's largest regional aircraft simulator training provider. Based near Afonso Pena International Airport in Curitiba, the organisation operates a 2,700 m² training facility with ANAC-certified Full Flight Simulators for the Embraer 145, ATR 42/72 and Embraer 120, alongside Flight Training Devices for the Boeing 737NG, Embraer 170/190 and Embraer 110.
In addition to aircraft type rating programmes, EPA provides Jet Orientation, RVSM, PBN and CRM training, Santos Dumont English Assessments at four locations across Brazil, and cabin crew training.
Pan Am Flight Academy provides simulator-based training, type ratings, ATP certification programmes and other aviation training services to airlines, corporate operators, military organisations and individual pilots, training aviation professionals from more than 100 countries.
