ALSIM and Orbit Groundschool announced a partnership during the European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) to jointly develop an automated pilot selection and evaluation system. The collaboration combines ALSIM’s experience in flight simulation technology with Orbit Groundschool’s expertise in aviation training and assessment.

The system aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and fairness of pilot selection through data-driven evaluation and automation. Both companies are focusing on solutions that support the next generation of pilot training and assessment standards worldwide.

“This collaboration represents an important step forward in the modernization of pilot assessment,” said Audrey Jeffroy, Sales and Marketing Director at ALSIM. “Together with Orbit Groundschool, we’re leveraging technology to better identify and support future aviation professionals.”

Commenting on the partnership, Niko Gerrits, Managing Director of Orbit Groundschool, said: “This automatic pilot selection tool will greatly enhance the ability to assess and determine the core pilot competencies needed for aspiring pilots in a real-world environment using our ALSIM ALX training device.”

The development of the system is already underway, with further announcements expected as the project progresses.

Alsim will be at The European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) in Cascais, Portugal, from 5- 6 November at booth 516. Stop by to learn more!
