Acron Aviation, formerly L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions, has launched Astra, a new iOS application designed to enhance pilot performance by delivering personalized insights before and after each flight. Powered by flight data analytics, Astra offers modules for both safety and operational efficiency.
The app’s Efficiency module tracks fuel use, wear indicators, and performance metrics across fleets through a streamlined dashboard. It provides feedback to management teams while offering pilots personalized suggestions to improve adherence to standard operating procedures.
Developed in partnership with FuelVision, Astra also features benchmarking tools, training recommendations, and real-time debriefing—delivering feedback within 15 minutes of landing. Astra’s machine learning models draw from a database of 45 million flights.
According to Acron Aviation, the platform helps reduce operational costs and supports sustainable flying by identifying areas for fuel savings and performance improvements.
