Adacel has been named Air Traffic Simulation Training Solution of the Year 2025 by Aerospace & Defense Review. The recognition, published in the magazine’s October issue, cited Adacel’s innovation and commitment to developing immersive air traffic control (ATC) simulation systems.
The company earned its nomination through subscriber input and a multi-stage review process, with Adacel selected as the sole recipient. Its MaxSim simulation platform replicates real-world tower and radar environments, supported by the AeroScene image generator and speech recognition powered by Cerence.
“Everything we design, build, and support is anchored in one principle, to improve the customer experience,” said Michael Saunders, Vice President of Strategy, Simulation & Technical Services at Adacel.
Adacel collaborates with air navigation service providers, defense organizations, and training institutions to enhance simulation tools that reflect evolving airspace needs, including unmanned systems integration and new training technologies such as gamification and mobile learning.
