Stick n Throttle Adds ALSIM ALX Simulator

Stick n Throttle Aviation, a flight training school in South Africa, has invested in an ALSIM ALX simulator to enhance its training capabilities. The ALSIM ALX provides simulation for up to four classes of aircraft, including single-engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine, and medium category twin jet. The device is approved for ATPL, CPL, and MCC training, and meets all current regulatory standards.

Etienne Bekker, Director and Head of Training at Stick n Throttle Aviation, stated, “The ALSIM ALX is a natural choice for the multi-faceted options it offers in a single generic simulator. In addition, ALSIM is well represented in South Africa, with satisfactory performance for qualification within the SACAA. The product works and performs as required for SACAA qualification and is supported by well-known factory assistance throughout the process.”

The school plans to use the simulator to meet a variety of training needs and reduce aircraft hours.
