United Airlines and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) announced a tentative agreement on 23 May covering approximately 28,000 flight attendants. The agreement includes wage increases, a signing bonus, and improvements to scheduling and quality of life provisions.

The final contract language will be completed in the coming days. It must be approved by the AFA’s Master Executive Council, including all Local Presidents, before being submitted to flight attendants for a ratification vote. If ratified, the contract would remain in effect for five years.
