At the European Aviation Training Summit, Acron Aviation announced an extension of its Boeing 737NG training services agreement with Ascend Airways at the London Training Center (LTC).

The renewed arrangement covers all B737NG training services, including recurrent training, Type Ratings, and wet and dry simulator leasing, and ensures a consistent training experience for Ascend Airways crews. Designed to maintain operational continuity, the extension allows Ascend Airways to benefit from Acron Aviation’s facilities and flexible scheduling.

David Coward, SVP & GM Training Services, Acron Aviation, said: “We’re committed to providing Ascend Airways pilots with the dependable, quality B737NG training they are accustomed to.” Coward continued, “our priority is to ensure all Ascend Airways flight crew receive the highest-quality training to ensure they meet, and exceed, industry standards.”

Captain Spencer Ainsworth, Nominated Person Crew Training, Ascend Airways added: “This extension provides the predictability we need to manage our crew and fleet plans. Acron Aviation’s reliable training capability gives us the confidence to complete the process without disruption.”
