In July 2025, FTD.aero completed the installation of a Boeing 737-800 (B738) Flight Simulation Training Device (FTD) at T’way Air’s training facility in Seoul, South Korea. The device has been certified as a Level 4 FTD by Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), which oversees civil aviation standards in the country.

The simulator was developed and manufactured in Poland by FTD.aero and tailored to meet T’way Air’s operational training requirements. The device supports pilot instruction with a focus on operational realism and cost efficiency and includes provisions for future upgrades to remain aligned with the airline’s fleet development.

Pilot training has already begun on the simulator. T’way Air flight crews and instructors have reported positive impressions, particularly noting the device’s fidelity, ease of use, and training environment.

The project is part of FTD.aero’s continued international expansion and reflects its growing presence in Asia’s civil aviation training sector.

FTD.aero will showcase its technologies at booth #501 during the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) in Singapore, scheduled for August 26–27, 2025.
