CPaT Global, a provider of distance learning for the airline and aviation industry, has announced a new training partnership with MAB Academy, the training arm of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG). CPaT will provide Pilot Aircraft Systems and Procedures courseware with Enhanced Tailoring to support initial and recurrent training for Malaysia Airlines and Firefly.

The agreement covers the Boeing B737-800 and B737-8, Airbus A330-200/200F/300, A330-900 and A350-900, and ATR72-500, supporting a combined fleet of 111 aircraft. Through Enhanced Tailoring, CPaT will help MAB Academy deliver training aligned with the airlines’ fleet configurations and operational requirements.

“Supporting training across a diverse fleet requires courseware that is both comprehensive and relevant to the pilots using it,” said Capt. Greg Darrow, Vice President of Sales at CPaT Global.

“This partnership strengthens our commitment to delivering relevant, high-quality training that supports the operational needs of Malaysia Airlines and Firefly. By leveraging digital learning solutions featuring tailored aircraft systems and procedures courseware, we aim to enhance training effectiveness, provide greater flexibility in learning and equip our pilots with the knowledge required to operate our diverse fleet safely and confidently,” said Captain Mohamad Khairul Ahmad Jahudi, Chief Operating Officer of MAB Academy.

Based in Selangor, Malaysia, MAB Academy provides training for MAG personnel across flight operations, cabin crew, engineering, line maintenance and ground handling.
