Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) has appointed Candace Croughwell as its new business development and capture manager, effective June 16. Croughwell brings over a decade of experience in federal contracting, enterprise partnerships, and government procurement.

In her new role, she will focus on expanding ECS’s presence in the federal and defense sectors by identifying partnership opportunities, managing capture strategies, and driving competitive bids aligned with the company's growth plans.

“Her expertise in federal capture and strategic teaming will strengthen our ability to deliver next-generation training and technology solutions to our defense and government clients," said Gregory Kane, chief operating officer of ECS. "She’s a strong asset as we continue expanding our footprint in this fast-evolving sector.”

Most recently, Croughwell served as a federal account manager at TEKsystems, where she led cloud solution engagements with partners such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. She also served as director of enterprise partnerships and director of operations at Thazen, where she executed teaming agreements, managed subcontracts, and cultivated long-term government relationships.

Croughwell holds an associate degree from Lake-Sumter State College and remains active in the defense and innovation community through leadership roles with Women in Defense and the Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).
