Founded in December 2020 by retired Army officers Colonel P Hani and Colonel (Dr) N Sriramesh, Edgeforce Solutions is a Hyderabad-based defence technology company developing indigenous AI-powered systems. Incubated at T-Hub, the company focuses on unmanned ground vehicles, AR/VR military simulators, and predictive maintenance tools for India's armed forces.
Their work spans three areas: autonomous systems for high-risk terrain, immersive XR-based training, and AI-driven defence applications. These tools are designed to enhance readiness, reduce risk, and support operational efficiency across different environments. Its simulators incorporate realistic combat environments and decision-based learning, with feedback loops from active military units.
Edgeforce aligns with national initiatives like Startup India and Atmanirbhar Bharat and is now scaling manufacturing of its DRAX unmanned vehicle while expanding AI-based tools and international partnerships.
