AeroGuard Flight Training Center has expanded its fleet beyond 120 aircraft, with plans to reach 130 by the end of 2025. The expansion includes six Diamond DA42 multi-engine aircraft, arriving in the coming weeks, to support a new training program for the United States Air Force.
Air Force student pilots will begin training on single-engine Piper Archers and transition to the DA42 during the multi-engine phase. AeroGuard is also adding five more Piper Archers this month, part of a larger 90-aircraft order with Piper Aircraft.
The aircraft additions will support both existing programs and the new Air Force program. AeroGuard has designed this program to align with Air Force standards and prepare officers for future military pilot careers.
In addition to fleet growth, the school is adding simulators and expanding its footprint at Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix, Arizona, to accommodate increasing student enrollment.
By year’s end, AeroGuard expects its fleet to total 130 aircraft, supporting both commercial airline and military pilot training.
