VIPER WING is unveiling the F35U 2026, described as the “5th iteration of 5th generation.” The system is an unclassified representation of the F-35 cockpit, designed with a focus on realism and flexibility for training environments.
The cockpit incorporates a panoramic cockpit display (PCD) with 20:8 proportions and resolution modeled on the real fighter jet. Infrared touchscreen technology allows operation with gloves, aligning with operational needs. Updates also include aluminum HOTAS grips with revised coating and components, along with a modified seat and an improved assembly process intended to increase efficiency.
The frame and structure are built entirely from aluminum, omitting composites to maintain authenticity in appearance and feel. Features such as military-grade switches, service access panels, and a sliding side console were added to support usability. Each console includes integrated wheels for modular transport or relocation as a complete unit. A new aluminum seat was developed for precise electric adjustment.
The F35U 2026 is part of the company’s Ultimate Line of cockpits, intended as multi-task trainers. The modular approach reflects an emphasis on adaptability while maintaining a realistic pilot environment.
As with other systems from VIPER WING, the F35U 2026 is platform-agnostic.
