CAE has delivered its Prodigy Image Generator (IG) on two military platform simulators: the CH-53GS helicopter for the German Armed Forces and a Eurofighter device for the Austrian Armed Forces.
In late 2025, the German Armed Forces completed customer acceptance and qualification of CAE Prodigy as part of upgrades to their CH-53GS full-motion helicopter simulators, audited by the German Military Aviation Authority (LufABw). CAE Prodigy was also deployed on the Austrian Eurofighter fixed-wing training device at the same time.
The system enables aircrews to rehearse complex scenarios, integrate synthetic threats, and train in low-level flying with high scene density, including confined spaces and degraded visual environments. CAE Prodigy has previously been qualified on more than 30 civil aviation devices to FAA and EASA Level D.
